On Friday evening, Sat.1 hit another low with “The Voice Kids”. On the other hand, “Let’s Dance” triumphed on RTL.

As soon as the blind auditions are over, things go downhill for “The Voice Kids”. At the beginning of the tenth season, the market shares were still increasing every week. On Good Friday they were even more than eleven percent, as reported by the media magazine “DWDL”..

This flight of fancy seems to have come to an end after the blind auditions: the ratings dropped significantly last week, and on this Friday evening (April 29th) the ninth episode went downhill. The show reached only 7.7 percent among 14 to 49 year olds. The final show can then be seen on May 6 at 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1.

On the other hand, things went better for RTL: “Let’s Dance” took a market share of 18.9 percent among 14 to 49 year olds and thus dominated the evening. 3.7 million viewers switched according to the AGF video research in cooperation with GfK – which, however, corresponds to the lowest value of this year’s season.

Even after “Let’s Dance”, the RTL ratings remained high: “Exclusiv Spezial” had a market share of 17.2 percent, the subsequent “RTL-Nachtjournal” was still 15.2 percent.
