The Voice of Germany: Mark Forster has to fight for "TVOG" talents

Mark Forster has to show stamina. The coach at "The Voice of Germany" has to leave many talents to his competition.

Last Thursday evening, the blind auditions of the anniversary series of "The Voice of Germany" went into round five. One coach had to suffer in particular this time: "TVOG" veteran Mark Forster (37) lost a few duels against his coach colleagues who snatched the talents from under his nose. He would have liked to have welcomed up-and-coming singer Dimi Rompos or student Anastasia Blevins to his team. But both opted for the coach duo of Yvonne Catterfeld (40) and Silbermond front woman Stefanie Kloß (35). And talent Manuel Süß also opted for the two – which made Mark Forster sing a sad song.

"I have difficulty hiding my disappointment. There is a certain tendency that they do not come to me," he explains to his colleagues. The coaches feel sorry for him and "let him breathe for a moment on his own," explains Stefanie Kloß. Then Mark Forster gets very sentimental and tells the audience the "story of the little boy from Kaiserslautern who liked to wear hats and was a bit short-sighted." He has always dreamed of being a coach at "The Voice of Germany". Then he sang: "It doesn't matter how much I want it, whatever I say, I make stupid jokes, give compliments, but in the end, no one comes into my team here again soon Paddy Kelly. "

Mark Forster's anniversary doesn't bring luck

Forster was all the more happy about Erwin Holm's talent, for whom he was the only one who buzzed. Coach Rea Garvey (47) explained teasingly: "We all held back. He wouldn't have got a single talent today." In his anniversary season, of all places, Mark Forster has to fight for candidates: the 37-year-old has already been used ten times in the format: four times as a coach for "TVOG", five times for "The Voice Kids" and once for "The Voice Senior".
