The Voice of Germany: Michael Schulte becomes online coach

In season one, Michael Schulte made it to third place on "The Voice of Germany". In the tenth season he becomes an online coach.

In the first season of the talent show "The Voice of Germany", singer Michael Schulte (30) took third place in the final. In this year's tenth season he is returning, according to a press release. Schulte will give "already retired talents a second chance".

The online show "The Voice: Comeback Stage by SEAT" took place last year. There, candidates who were not buzzed in the blind auditions or who are later eliminated in the battles or sing-offs receive a second chance. Michael Schulte will form a team from them and compete in the live shows with his two best talents. There they face the semi-finalists of the teams of Stefanie Kloß (35) and Yvonne Catterfeld (40), Samu Haber (44) and Rea Garvey (47), Mark Forster (37) and Nico Santos (27).

Michael Schulte: "It's a great honor for me"

Schulte takes on the role of Nico Santos, who this year is switching from online coach to coach on the red swivel chair. One of his talents even made it to the final last year.

Schulte is happy about the new challenge: "It's been almost ten years since I was there myself as a talent and 'The Voice of Germany' is and will always be an important and wonderful part of my musical career.
