Noah Sam cannot take part in the live shows of "The Voice of Germany". His coaching team came up with something for this.

Change of plan for "The Voice of Germany": Actually, Noah Sam (22) should move into the "TVOG" semifinals as the protégé of Stefanie Kloß (36, "Another Summer") and Yvonne Catterfeld (41, "For You") – yes nothing will come of it. The singer was diagnosed with a flu – not a coronavirus – which is why he voluntarily renounces his place in the live shows. In a press release he is quoted as saying: "My gratitude is greater than the sadness. (…) I had a very experience-rich, wonderful time at 'The Voice of Germany' and with Stefanie and Yvonne, two really great coaches."

The coaches are also very reluctant to say goodbye to the "great artist", as they call him. "You moved us and all of Germany to tears," said the two of them, referring to his talent. But, "The Show must go on". That's why Oliver Henrich is now getting his second chance. For the semifinals, the 39-year-old returns to "The Voice of Germany": "It was completely surreal to receive this call. My wife and I went nuts," said the musician. "Now of course I stumbled into the preparation phase head over heels. (…) But pressure is often the best."

The semi-finals of "The Voice of Germany" will take place on December 13, 2020, at 8:15 pm live on Sat.1 and on Joyn.
