End clap for the super cross battles of “The Voice”! This Saturday evening, the talents of the singing competition were once again submitted to the public’s vote but also to that of Jenifer, present for the occasion. Eight of them won their ticket for the semi-final, broadcast on May 18 on TF1.
The noose is tightening more and more for candidates of The Voice… This Saturday evening, several of them were unfortunately eliminated after the super cross battles.
A very masculine semi-final
The defeat of young Manuela, little nugget of Bigflo and Oli’s team, left the two Toulouse rappers speechless, in shock. “I’m a little stunned,” Oli commented, with tears in his eyes, after discovering the final vote. 57.7% of the votes went to Manuela’s opponent, interior designer Clément Massy, an outsider on the show first coached by Zazie then saved by Mika during the battles. The 25-year-old is one of the eight semi-finalists of the thirteenth season of The Voice. Gabriel Lobao is the second semi-finalist for Mika’s team. At Vianney, it is Odem and Baptiste Sartoria who will go to the semi-final.
Rest assured, there will also be women in the semi-finals even if they are in the minority. Lize qualified with Alphonse in Zazie’s team. At Bigflo and Oli, there are only singers: Adnaé and Iris, two very great voices of this season.
Anne Sila and Jérémy Frérot present for the semi-final
Next Saturday, May 18, these eight semi-finalists will not only have to convince the public of the Lendit studio but also four former emblematic candidates of The Voice, present for the occasion. Jérémy Frérot (season 3), Anne Sila (season 4 and All-Stars season), Abi Bernadoth (season 9) and Aurélien Vivos (season 12), will be invited to vote to take a team talent to the final. The public vote will represent 80% of the votes and the jury vote will represent 20% of the votes (5% each).
Next week, Camille Lellouche, coach of The Voice: comeback will also showcase their talent which will participate in the grand finale.
