Daryl Dixon is called a noob by a French woman when they first meet him

The US broadcaster AMC has now uploaded Daryl’s very first encounter with a French woman to the official TWD account on Instagram. In French, she first asks him how he is, but Daryl replies in English that he doesn’t understand her. The Frenchwoman’s tone changes immediately when she realizes that he is an American.

She replies in English that she speaks English very well and tries to ease the situation with a saying: “What’s cracking, noob?” That probably confuses Daryl even more than the French, because can you imagine the taciturn hillbilly ever hearing or using the word “noob”?

We are curious to see how the further encounters with Daryl’s language barrier will go. There could certainly be one or the other misunderstanding. “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” will start on September 10th on the US broadcaster AMC and the associated streaming service AMC+.
