There’s a lot going on with “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon”. During filming, more and more Parisians have funny encounters with the undead and the cast is expanded by five characters.
- The shooting of the “The Walking Dead” spin-off around Daryl Dixon mixes up the everyday lives of Parisians.
- The cast also grows by five newcomers.
The Daryl Dixon spin-off is currently filming in Paris. Again and again, videos appear on social media in which Parisian citizens unexpectedly come across a horde of undead and thus get into one or the other funny situation.
So does the TikTok user “doesthisfeelgood”, who just wanted to leave her apartment and first of all asks an extremely polite, albeit mumbling, biter which way she can take so that she doesn’t disturb the filming.
But that’s not the only news from The Walking Dead spin-off. New cast members were announced by the US magazine Variety. Norman Reedus, Clémence Poésy and Adam Nagaitis are joined by Anne Charrier (“The Last Deadly Mission”), Eriq Ebanouey (“Fox Hunt”), Laika Blanc Francard (“My Night”), Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and Romain Levi (“The Tunnel”).
Charrier will play Genet, while Ebanouey will portray Fallou. Blanc Francard plays Sylvie, Levi and Puech Scigliuzzi play Codron and Laurent.
In the TWD spin-off, Daryl Dixon wakes up one day in France with no idea how he got to Europe. The series follows his journey through post-apocalyptic France and his search for a way home. The series will most likely start at the end of 2023, but first you can expect the Maggie and Negan spin-off “The Walking Dead: Dead City” in June.
