  • “The Walking Dead: Dead City” finally starts in Germany on October 13, 2023.
  • At MagentaTV you can watch all six episodes of “The Walking Dead” spin-off.
  • In it, Maggie and Negan are looking for Maggie’s son Hershel.

Almost four months after its US launch, you can now look forward to the German premiere of “The Walking Dead: Dead City”. The fourth spin-off of the popular zombie series “The Walking Dead” is available from today, October 13, 2023, on the Telekom streaming service MagentaTV. In it you see arch enemies Maggie and Negan on a joint mission in New York City.

The spin-off “Tales of the Walking Dead” was shown exclusively on MagentaTV. This might annoy some TWD fans, as the spin-off series cannot all be seen on one streaming service. While the main series can now be seen in full on Netflix, Disney+, Joyn and Amazon Prime Video, “Fear the Walking Dead” and “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” can only be seen with a Prime Video subscription.

In addition to “Tales of the Walking Dead” and “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” and “The Ones Who Live” will also be broadcast exclusively on MagentaTV. So if you want to watch the latest spin-offs from “The Walking Dead”, you can’t ignore the Telekom streaming service.

You don’t need a Telekom connection to watch MagentaTV.

Good news: You no longer need a Telekom connection to access the content of the MagentaTV media library. You can subscribe to MagentaTV like any other streaming service, regardless of your internet or telephone provider.

If you choose the MagentaTV Flex subscription, you currently pay 10 euros per month and can simply cancel the service monthly – without a minimum term. Our MagentaTV app test tells you everything you need to know about using the streaming service.

For the impatient without MagentaTV: Watch TWD spin-offs directly on AMC+ with a VPN service

Anyone who likes to watch series in the original sound also has the opportunity to watch all previous TWD spin-offs directly on the US streaming service AMC+. A clear advantage is that you can actually watch all TWD series with a subscription and the first seven days of the streaming service are even free.

If you then choose the discounted subscription with commercial breaks, you will only pay $4.99 per month. “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” is also already available on AMC+. “Daryl Dixon” is not scheduled to air on MagentaTV until the end of the year. However, in order to be able to watch AMC+ in Germany, you need a VPN service where you select a US server and a credit card.

The Walking Dead – Dead City: That’s what the spin-off of Maggie and Negan is about

“The Walking Dead: Dead City” begins several years after the events of “The Walking Dead” finale. Arch-enemies Maggie and Negan join forces to rescue Maggie’s son Hershel from the clutches of a kidnapper. “The Croat” kidnapped Hershel to New York City. Can Maggie and Negan work together despite their terrible past together?
