To find out a little more about the show he was going to join, he still decided to watch season 10, before getting totally caught up in the game and catching up on the whole series in two short weeks, as he said. at Insider :
“When I got hired, I was like, ‘Oh, there’s no way I could watch a show that’s been on for 10 years. I watched the most recent episodes, the previous season, just to get an idea of where the story was at.
And then, because of the covid rules, I had to arrive [en Géorgie] nearly two weeks before filming begins. I thought ‘Oh, I should keep watching to at least see how this all started’.”
The birth of a fan
It was the beginning of a (very) long catch-up marathon, because the first 10 seasons of The Walking Dead have 153 episodes, of about 45 minutes…
I started watching the first episode of the first season and spent the next two weeks in my apartment in Georgia watching 10 years of the show, which was one of the best viewing experiences of my life.
Results ? Josh Hamilton has become a real fan of the series and its actors! “The only downside is that when I arrived on set… I acted a bit like a fan when I saw people. I was like, ‘Be cool. Be cool. Be cool’. The more I watched, the more honored I felt to be allowed to come and play in the Walking Dead playground.“, he confided.
