Robert Kirkman isn’t ruling out a TWD animated series

Kirkman himself is definitely not opposed to the idea of ​​an animated series. In a new colorized edition of “The Walking Dead Deluxe #79”, the author answers fan questions and gives us the answer: “I think it would be great fun to do a faithful animated adaptation, but I don’t know if AMC would like to do that something has” (via Comicbook).

Since “The Walking Dead” continues to be one of the most successful franchises for the US broadcaster AMC, there is a chance that the broadcaster will be interested in an animated adaptation.

First, however, Kirkman is busy with his animated series “Invincible.” The comic author has even secured a lot of “The Walking Dead” actors and actresses for the cast of the superhero series, which is available on Amazon Prime Video. He contributed his last TWD episode in season 5.

On February 26, 2023, the spin-off “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” will start exclusively on Magenta TV, just one day after the US broadcast on AMC.
