The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on the ashes of a war with the dead. And ultimately, a war with the living. Can they find themselves and remember who they were in a place and situation unlike anything they’ve known? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims ? Victorious? Without one and the other are they even alive or will they discover that they too are zombies?

On AMC in the United States, no French broadcaster announced.
WHICH CHARACTERS WILL APPEAR IN SEASON 2?
Left to the great surprise of the fans during the broadcast of the original series, Andrew Lincoln only resumed his role of Rick Grimes on the occasion of the final episode of the program, the time of a cameo appearance in a post-credits scene.
None other than Danai Gurira could lend her features to the valiant Michonne, she also glimpsed in the finale of The Walking Dead. Note that the 45-year-old actress – very involved in the production of the program – will be credited in the credits of the mini-series as co-creator (alongside Scott M. Gimple).
Finally, a third character well known to fans of the horror franchise will also return, since it has been confirmed that Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) will also be in the cast of this spin-off. Recall that the latter recently made an appearance in the second season of another series derived from The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

WHAT WE KNOW
Well… not much. Announced several years ago, the project took a long time to materialize, due to the Covid in particular, but also to the numerous rewrites caused by the changes in program format (read below).
The series will indeed bring together Rick Grimes and Michonne, probably in the American Northeast, but the precise contours of the plot remain secret for the time being by the production.
During a rare interview granted on this subject by Andrew Lincoln, the latter had evoked an adventure inspired by the tone of Clint Eastwood’s twilight western Merciless.
IS A SEASON 2 PLANNED?
A priori no season 2 planned. Originally, the project was developed as a trilogy of films and then as a feature film. But it is ultimately in the form of a mini-series that will see the light of day the ultimate adventures of the iconic duo of The Walking Dead franchise.
While the other two spin-offs currently airing – Dead City and Daryl Dixon – have been renewed for additional seasons, The Ones Who Live is not expected to extend beyond this single season.
