Is Andrew Lincoln directing now?
Now the question arises whether and how Lincoln will be active again for “The Walking Dead”. A return in the final episodes of the series would be purely fan service and certainly welcome. But it is also possible that he will take a seat behind the camera and direct an episode. In mid-January, cameraman Duane Manwiller posted another picture to which he wrote that only three episodes remained to be shot. So maybe one of them by Andrew Lincoln?
The third possibility is still that he has nothing to do with the series and is in front of the camera for the first of three “Rick” films. However, very little is known about this. Greg Nicotero, who has directed several episodes of The Walking Dead and created the walkers’ stunning masks, will direct. The script was written by “The Walking Dead” author Scott M. Gimple.
Whatever brought Lincoln to Georgia, fans can’t wait to see how and when Rick Grimes will continue. He has not yet spoken his last word. The new episodes of “The Walking Dead” can be seen every Monday on Disney+.
