Disney + has announced the start date of the eleventh season of the series “The Walking Dead”. The new episodes can be seen from August 23rd.

The eleventh season of “The Walking Dead” can be seen soon, also in this country. The streaming service Disney + has announced that the new episodes will be available exclusively from August 23 at 9:00 am under “Star”. A new episode will be added weekly. The eleventh and final season of the zombie series will be broadcast in three parts of eight episodes, parts two and three will start in 2022. All previous seasons are also available on Disney +.

In a statement by showrunner Angela Kang (45), from which, among other things, “The Hollywood Reporter” quoted in April, it said about season eleven: “We’re going to see more zombies, tons of action, fascinating new stories, never-before-seen locations and our groups together for the first time in a community trying to rebuild what the Whisperers took from them.” Accordingly, the finale of the AMC series will start “bigger than ever”, with “a lot at stake”.

The cult actors of the series such as Norman Reedus (52), Melissa McBride (56), Josh McDermitt (43), Khary Payton (49) and Cooper Andrews (36) will join Margot Bingham (33) and Michael in season eleven James Shaw (34), Laila Robins (62) and Josh Hamilton (52).
