The Walking Dead cast and crew have gathered for one last big group photo as filming of the finale of the iconic AMC series wraps up. Many of those involved in the series have posted farewell posts on social media.
This is how showrunner Angela Kang shows the moment when the end of filming was announced by the producers. She took over from TWD content director and ex-showrunner Scott M. Gimple in Season 9.
Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus is releasing an old video with co-star Melissa McBride, which is sure to get saddened fans a little excited for the Carol and Daryl spin-off.
Special FX makeup designer and producer Greg Nicotero also has a say. He has been responsible for the ghoulish zombie faces in “The Walking Dead” since the beginning and was even allowed to direct the final episode of “The Walking Dead”. In a short video on Instagram, he reminisces about the beginnings of the show with Norman Reedus.
But you don’t have to be too sad. AMC has already announced three new spin-offs from the “The Walking Dead” universe. In addition to the still untitled Carol and Daryl series, it is already certain that the anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” and the spin-off by Maggie and Negan called “Isle of the Dead” will be released.
On April 11, 2022, the finale of the second part of the 11th season of TWD will be released on Disney+ and ProSieben Fun. The third and last part of the season will start in autumn 2022. In addition, the second part of “Fear the Walking Dead” season 7 awaits you from April 17, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
