“The Ones Who Live,” the “The Walking Dead” spin-off about Rick Grimes and Michonne, has received a new trailer. There is also brand new information about the launch.
Traditionally, the minds behind “The Walking Dead” universe always save important announcements for the big US conventions. A first trailer for the long-awaited TWD spin-off “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” was shown at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
It was also revealed that… Rick and Michonne spin-off in February 2024 will appear. In the teaser trailer we see several short excerpts and we hear a voiceover from Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, reassuring his loved ones that he tried to escape and that he loves them.
It was also officially announced that Pollyanna McIntosh would be returning as Jadis. Terry O’Quinn was also confirmed. He will play the role of Quinn. Matt Jeffries is also new. Lesley-Ann Brandt was previously confirmed in the role of Pearl.

Rick Grimes was kidnapped by the Civic Republic Military in episode 5 of Season 9 of “The Walking Dead.” Jadis has been secretly collecting test subjects for the CRM the entire time and has also handed Rick over to the military organization.
Rick’s friends believe he died in the bridge explosion he used to keep a horde of zombies away. But Rick’s partner Michonne finds a clue to his survival and goes looking for him.
This is where the spin-off “The Ones Who Live” comes in. How will the reunion between Rick and Michonne go and what has happened to Rick over the years? We’ll find out in six episodes of “The Ones Who Live.” The series will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2024. In Germany you can see them on the Telekom streaming service MagentaTV.
