The Warner Pass, the new formula available on Amazon Prime Video, finally offers the promised offer in France. Indeed, 8 additional channels are now available in the bouquet.
On March 16, 2023, Amazon Prime Video announced the launch in France of the Warner Pass. This new formula, resulting from a partnership with Warner Bros. discovery, is offered at €9.99 per month. A sum to add to your Amazon Prime subscription of €6.99.
For this price, theFirst of all, the Warner Pass includes all of the HBO series. And yes, OCS having lost its license with HBO, it is therefore Amazon which becomes the only broadcaster of the productions of the American channel in France. Via this offer, users will be able to (re)discover cult or recent series such as The Last of Us, The Wire, The Sopranos, True Blood, Band of Brothers or all the seasons of Game Of Thrones.
We must add to this a dozen additional channels offering a wide selection of animated series (for children and adults), documentaries, but also sports and information. Only, at the launch of the Warner Pass on March 16, 2023, 4 channels out of 12 were available in France.
The Warner Pass finally complete
Enough to question the interest of subscribing and paying the €10 requested. But precisely, we have just learned that the missing channels have just been added to the Warner Pass catalog. Now, in addition to HBO, Warner Bros. TV, Adult Swim and Toonami, subscribers will also be able to enjoy content from the following channels:
- Eurosport 1 and 2
- TCM Cinema
- Cartoon Network
- Boomerang
- Cartoonito
- Discovery Channel
- Investigation-Discovery
- Discovery Science
- CNN
You will agree, the Warner Pass offer is much more attractive now and has the merit of being rather varied, between films and series, documentaries, sport, news and content for children.
Be careful however, if you were planning to take advantage of the free trial month at the Warner Pass, this is no longer possible. Amazon withdrew the offer this Tuesday, April 4, 2023. We can console ourselves by remembering that the Warner Pass is non-binding. In other words, nothing prevents you from trying the formula for a month and seeing whether or not it deserves the monthly €10 requested.
