This Thursday, March 16, Prime Video will add a serious string to its bow with the exclusive arrival of the Warner Pass. Price, content and first details of this additional channel boosted to HBO series are finally here.
Recall in passing that today also has just ended the first season of The Last of Uswhose future status on Prime Video is unknown.
A new subscription that will go up in the towers
Unveiled a few weeks ago, the Warner Pass will soon be a reality in France. Indeed, this additional subscription integrated into the Prime Video Channels will offer from this Thursday, March 16, access to content from several channels belonging to Warner Bros. Discovery. This access will be charged 9.99 euros per month, to be added of course to the Prime Video subscription of 5.99 euros per month.
However, not all channels will be accessible from Thursday. Only Adult Swim, Warner Bros. TV, Toonami and HBO will be there. The other “corners” (Eurosport, Discovery, CNN, Boomerang, TCM Cinema, Cartoon Network and Cartoonito) will be added regularly until April 3.
HBO in force
Fortunately, the first provider of quality series, HBO, will be there. It remains to be seen whether the rare series and seasons that still remain in the OCS catalog will also be in the game or whether it will be necessary to wait for the total end of the deal. In any case, it is promised that season 4 of Succession can be watched from March 27, one episode per week.
In addition, the Prime Video Twitter account mentions the fact that Game Of Thrones will be offered in 4K. Good news given that OCS was limited to 1080p and that The Last of Us on Prime Video suffers from the same limitation.
