The Weeknd released a song with reggaeton star Maluma. For the song, the Canadian sings in English and Spanish.
The Weeknd (30, "After Hours") ventures into new territory: This Thursday (November 5th) the US singer released a song together with the South American megastar Maluma (26), including a video. The Weeknd recorded a "Hawái Remix" with the Colombian. Maluma released the original song "Hawái" in July 2020.
"I've always admired The Weeknd, so it feels like a dream to work with him on the 'Hawái' remix – he sang in both Spanish and English, which is impressive," Maluma said in a statement. Director Jessy Terrero (48) implemented the video for the song. In it, the two singers dance in a club while a number of women give them admiring glances.
