As Lost Ark players began to lose patience with the state of the game’s servers, the developers introduced the Western Europe region, but it was far from unanimous.
From day one Lost Ark suffered from its popularity, the servers failing to channel such an influx of players, and since then the situation has only gotten worse day after day.
While many players despaired of ever being able to access Lost Ark without going through the queue box, the developers announced the arrival of a new region which they hastened to deploy shortly after the update. of November 17.

This new region has made 8 servers available to players: Rethramis, Tortoyk, Moonkeep, Stonehearth, Shadespire, Tragon, Petrania and Punika. In addition, the developers have announced that additional servers could be deployed later if necessary.
New Lost Ark region divides players
While many players welcomed the Western Europe region with smiles, not everyone did. While some players highlighted the fact that there were always queues and latency, or even that they couldn’t even access the region choice, most mainly pointed out that this is not not what they asked for.
Indeed, some players castigated the initiative of the developers arguing that what they were asking was that the capacity of the servers be increased and that they prevent AFK players from blocking the arrival of new players by staying connected. They take a dim view of starting all over again, and not being able to play with their friends who plan to stay in the Central European region.

Anyway, so that players who choose to join this new region do not feel “cheated”, the developers have implemented additional login bonuses, while allowing players to recover “the equivalent of 10 days of login bonus”.
Additionally, players who owned a Founder’s Pack, will be offered “an additional set of exclusive Founder’s Pack items they used as well as additional Royal Crystals.”
It remains to be seen if Lost Ark players will be seduced by this new region full of promise.
