There is no exact start date for “The White Lotus” season 3 yet. However, now that the writers’ and actors’ strikes have ended, production is progressing quickly. Casting is already underway and filming is scheduled to start in February 2024. However, according to HBO boss Casey Bloys, the new episodes won’t start until 2025 (via Deadline).

Series creator Mike White also promises that the new season will be “supersize”. “It’s getting longer, bigger, crazier.” (via Deadline). The White Lotus: Plot

After the first season took place in a White Lotus resort in Hawaii and the second in Sicily, season 3 takes us to a resort in Asia. Showrunner Mike White hints at this after the end of the second season, according to the US magazine “Deadline”.

In the first season we highlighted money and the second season is about sex. I think maybe in the third season it would be some kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality.

However, we won’t see many of the characters known from the first two seasons in the new episodes. All that is known so far is that Natasha Rothwell is returning to her role as Belinda. Belinda works in the spa area of ​​the luxury resort in season 1 of “The White Lotus”. Tanya is so enthusiastic about her that she even wants to support the single mother in setting up her own massage studio. At least until she gets distracted by her new love Greg.

At the end of the second season, Tanya died after Greg sent assassins Niccolò, Quentin and Didier to end her life.

While Tanya fought her tragic end, Ethan and Cameron argued at the exact spot where Daphne would later find her body floating in the sea. The altercation came after Harper admitted to Ethan that she and Cameron had kissed. Other plots and conflicts were also resolved in the season finale.

Lucia and Mia emerged as the biggest winners of “The White Lotus” Season 2. Lucia got the money she wanted, and Mia used sexual favors to convince manager Valentina to hire her as a permanent pianist at the resort.

The idea and script for the series came from Mike White (co-producer on “Dawson’s Creek”). David Bernad and Nick Hall are expected to serve as executive producers again.

Since filming has always taken place in Four Seasons hotels, the selection in Thailand is limited to four hotels: the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and the Four Seasons Bangkok.
