This Thursday, December 10, 2020, your Facebook and your Messenger are crashing? Instragram not updating? Whatsapp paddling? Explanation: a global bug is currently affecting social networks.

Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Whatsapp: this Thursday, December 10, 2020, it is the massacre on the network side. Since this morning, a global bug has paralyzed them, in particular, Facebook Messenger. According to figures published by Downdetector, a site listing error reports from Web users, 90% of complaints sent today concern Messenger, and more particularly the inability to send or receive messages.

Facebook's incomplete response to bugs on its instant messaging service, but also on two other brand platforms: "We know that some people have difficulty sending messages in Messenger, Instagram and Workplace Chat. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible."

These three other platforms, less affected, are however in turmoil, and are experiencing difficulties in updating, posting and exchanging private messages. The countries concerned: France as well as the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Japan and Australia. There are therefore billions of us trying to communicate with our loved ones or our collaborators, in the midst of a period of confinement.
It remains to be seen if the United States, currently waking up, will also find itself in the digital panade, and if this giant bug will be fixed soon (we miss our TL Insta …).
