The Witcher 4: Geralt’s voice actor confirms what fans were hoping for

CD Project is currently focused on the development of Project Polaristhe next part of the saga The Witcher. This opus will be the first of a new trilogy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt having marked the end of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The most famous of the Witchers has earned a break, but it won’t be permanent.

Game director Sebastian Kalemba had already announced that The Witcher 4 will be as much an entry point for new players as a title that will please fans of Geraltbut now, This is the doubler of the Witcher which confirms what everyone was hoping for. In a recent video by Fall DamageDoug Cockle listens again to his cult lines of dialogue, but he declares above all:

The Witcher 4 has been announced. I can’t say anything about it. What we do know is that Geralt will be part of the game, we just don’t know to what extent, and the game won’t focus on Geralt. So, it’s not about him this time. We don’t know who it is. I can’t wait to find out. I want to know! I haven’t seen a script yet – I mean, I couldn’t tell you if I’ve seen it. That’s the problem, so I could be lying outright. But I’m not. Or am I?

Geralt of Rivia will therefore make an appearance in The Witcher 4but certainly not as a hero. Will he be an important secondary character, a simple NPC to please the fans, a faceless narrator? Mystery. CD Project has put the majority of its developers on Project Polariswhich does not yet have a release date.

To keep you waiting, you can find The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition from €22.99 on Amazon, Cdiscount, Fnac And GOG.com.
