The making of the third season of “The Witcher” is in full swing. In the new episodes, even Marvel will soon meet DC warriors.

Production of the third season of the popular fantasy series “The Witcher” started at the beginning of April. On the official Netflix production Instagram account were the first four newcomers introduced, accompanying Geralt (Henry Cavill, 38), Ciri (Freya Allan, 20) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra, 25) on their adventures – or standing in their way?

At least in the world of the Witcher, there will be a meeting between a Marvel heroine and a DC warrior. Meng’er Zhang (34) from “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” joins the cast, as does “The Flash” star Robbie Amell (33). The Chinese actress slips into the role of the huntress Milva in “The Witcher”, while Amell embodies the warrior Gallatin.

From ABBA to the Geralt saga

Two other stars were also announced. Actor Hugh Skinner (37) could be known to fans of the Swedish cult band ABBA. He starred in the musical “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” alongside the likes of Pierce Brosnan (68) and Meryl Streep (72). In “The Witcher” he can let the royal playboy hang out as Prince Radovid. The fourth in the group is newcomer Christelle Elwin, who suddenly has an unexpected opportunity as a poor teenager, Mistle.

It is not yet known when the third season will be available on Netflix. A release in late 2022 or early 2023 seems realistic.
