Viewers enjoying The Witcher TV series are eagerly awaiting the sequel to the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer and Ciri, narrated in season 3, coming in 2023 on Netflix. Unfortunately, this is the last season for Henry Cavill (Superman).
Indeed, last weekend, the actor indicated, in a publication on his Instagram account, that he would no longer lend his features to Geralt de Riv, after season 3. Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games, Independence Day: Resurgence) who will replace him and that we will therefore see as the Witcher from season 4. Henry Cavill said on this subject:
[…] My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventure, and alas, I’ll be laying down my medallion and swords for Season 4. In my place, the fantastical Liam Hemsworth will reprise the role of the White Wolf. […]
At this time, we don’t know more and we don’t know the real reasons for the departure of Henry Cavill, who recently announced that he was reprising his role as Clark Kent / Superman.
