During the last Night City Wire, CD Project Red revealed a lot of information about the future of Cyberpunk 2077starting with the extension Phantom Libertyas well as a 1.6 update for the game. The latter adds some elements related to the anime cyberpunk edge runners, soon to be broadcast on Netflix, but not only. The studio obviously wanted to make a little joke about a nod to the series The Witcherpresent in Night City.
From prank to real little game
In Cyberpunk 2077it is possible to find arcade terminals representing a game called Roach Racein other words a reference to Roach (Roach in VO), Geralt’s horse in The Witcher.
This game is now playable in Cyberpunk 2077but not only. History to push the joke to the end, CD Projekt Red has also decided to release the game on Android and iOS. You can now downloadr Roach Race for free on your mobile, and embody Roach through a pixel runner and completely wacky, very minimalist. Obviously a game to be taken literally, but who knows, maybe it will keep you busy for a few minutes.
