The Witcher Season 3: Geralt must adapt his moral code!

• Soon Geralt returns from Rivia in “The Witcher” season 3 and has to interfere in the fate of the people.
• The witcher prefers to stay out of human machinations, he only kills monsters, but that is no longer possible.
• Through Ciri, he is now in the middle of the intrigues and power games of the continent, because almost everyone is after Ciri.

“The Witcher” season 3 is expected to start on Netflix in spring 2023, so there is no trailer or further information yet. But we do know that Geralt (Henry Cavill) will do everything in his power to protect Ciri (Freya Allan). To do this, however, he has to overturn one of his basic principles.

In the very first episode of The Witcher, Geralt makes it clear that he doesn’t like to get involved in human affairs. When Stregobor (Lars Mikkelsen) asks him to kill Renfri (Emma Appleton), he refuses. He kills monsters, not people.

And with all the evil in the world to choose from, he prefers not to choose at all. In Episode 4, he once again clarifies to Dandelion (Joey Batey): “I will not kill anyone, not because of a stupid argument between men.”

Dandelion, however, recognizes the truth: “You never interfere, although – you actually do it all the time.” And it is precisely this truth that Geralt must now accept. In the Netflix series, it is now clear to every viewer that the real monsters are the people.

Power-hungry intrigues, treacherous machinations – soon Geralt can no longer escape, because Ciri is at the center of all the intriguing events on the continent. In order to protect her, he must choose between the greater and the lesser evil and interfere in the affairs of the people.

A start date in Netflix’s new products program has not yet been set, but the prequel series “The Witcher: Blood Origin” is scheduled to start in the summer, in which he will see the bard Larkspur again.
