Expected for December 25 on Netflix, the prequel to the series “The Witcher”, entitled “Legacy of Blood” is revealed with a new trailer. In the first role, we find Michelle Yeoh as a warrior!
Finally some news from The Witcher prequel, Legacy of Blood. At the end of season 2 of the series worn by Henry Cavill, Netflix unveiled the very first images of this series. Today, the date is revealed – next December 25 -, as well as the number of episodes. This new adventure will be divided into four parts only. A format shorter than expected since 6 episodes were initially announced.
To accompany the release, the platform also unveiled new images through a new teaser. Michelle Yeoh, who made an impression with the independent film Everything Everywhere At Oll Once, embodies here a new heroine who throws. She plays Scian, an Elf, last of her tribe, on a mission to find the sword that was stolen from her people.

This prequel is set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher. Blood Legacy tells”a forgotten story: that of the origin of the very first witcher and the events that led to the “conjunction of the spheres”, when the worlds of monsters, men and elves merged into one.“
Recently, The Witcher season 4 made headlines. Henry Cavill has announced that he is leaving the series, leaving his role as Geralt of Tiv in the hands of Liam Hemsworth. A shock for fans, while waiting for season 3, scheduled for summer 2023 on Netflix.
