The more cans are sold worldwide, the more money Red Bull spends on sponsorship. The result: the sports world of the cops is getting bigger and bigger…

Ice hockey and motorsport – that was always the great passion of the late Didi Mateschitz. As early as 1987, shortly after the company was founded, he helped the Salzburg EC financially. In 2000, Red Bull completely took over the ice hockey club in the city of Mozart. It was the beginning of a completely new kind of sponsorship. In 2020 Red Bull sold 7.9 billion cans, in the previous year even 9.8 – sales totaled around 7.8 billion euros. Red Bull is omnipresent worldwide, the sports world is getting bigger and bigger. In particular, the sponsoring of individual athletes has recently increased rapidly. Whether in cycling, skiing, rugby, skateboarding or e-sports – only the best in the industry are suitable for the Austrian company. The goals are always clear: success at the highest level.By the way: the first Red Bull athlete was signed in 1989: a Formula 1 driver named Gerhard Berger…
