The worst PokéStops ever discovered on Pokémon Go

In Pokémon Go, there are thousands of PokéStops around the world, allowing Trainers to stock up on resources. Discover the most original and even improbable of them.

Since its release in 2016, Pokémon Go has brought together millions of trainers. If you have already tried this adventure in augmented reality, then you must have discovered the PokéStops: these points of interest in the environment which allow players to recover Poké Balls, Berries and other resources essential to progress.

Not all of these PokéStops around the world are randomly placed. Indeed, the latter often mark the presence of a monument or other natural feature that makes its location special. Additionally, Trainers themselves can request a new PokéStop to be added to locations they deem worthy.

Over the years, the number of PokéStops has exploded for better and for worse. From location to title to description of a PokéStop, some of these points of interest are fascinating to say the least. Without further ado, discover 10 surprising PokéStops that amused the Pokémon Go community.

The slope of eternal agony

If we can be sure of one thing, it’s that the trainer behind this title had a bad experience with slides.

The thing that sends water up in the air at BMO Thiensville

Such a construction must have a name… but it is impossible to find it.

The smiling horse

“A receptacle of strength for children about to experience dental care”

We now know why so many children are afraid to go to the dentist.

Sculpture of emotional feet

“Sculpture of two enormous feet. One is happy and the other is sad.”

An abnormally precise description for a sculpture that is a little too disturbing.

Stan’s 74 Year Old Ham

When you don’t have monuments near you, you do with what you can!

Statue of Liberty

“This object is a replica of the Statue of Liberty”

It looks just like the original, doesn’t it?

The condescending dolphin

“This pretentious dolphin sculpture is judging you.”

It is true that this dolphin is haughty…

The metal xylophone

“A big xylophone to play beautiful music on for the bored corporate slaves around”

A rather banal sculpture, but a description that is worth the detour!

The airport’s teton building

“It’s a real work of art.”

Some would have called this building a dome. For this trainer, it’s a nipple.

The Weeping Angel

“Don’t blink. Blink and you’re dead. They are fast. Faster than you can imagine. Do not turn around. Don’t look away. And don’t blink. Good luck.”

If you receive a card from this PokéStop, beware.
