The Xiaomi 12T has no more secrets: a user managed to get his hands on it before its release to reveal its technical specifications as well as its design.
Xiaomi 12T leaks continue. This time it seems that the smartphone has gone on sale in Peru, even though it has not been officially presented by the brand and does not have an official release date. A retailer’s error allowed a smart guy to receive the smartphone weeks in advance, and now its design and technical data sheet are no longer in doubt.
The Xiaomi 12T sports a central punch to house the front camera and has an imposing photo block on the rear panel. The model shown here is the Clear Blue colorway, with other reports indicating that the phone will also be available in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver. The terminal embeds a screen 6.67-inch AMOLED with 2700 x 1220p definition, between Full HD+ and Quand HD+, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Xiaomi 12T more expensive than the Xiaomi 11T?
The smartphone is powered by a SoC MediaTek Dimension 8100 Ultra (compared to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for the Xiaomi 12T Pro) and 8 GB of RAM. Two storage configurations are offered: 128 or 256 GB. Autonomy is entrusted to a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 120W wired charging technology. A previous leak indicated that this version would only be entitled to a 67W recharge and that the 120W were reserved for the Pro.
The photo device consists of a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2 MP optic dedicated to the depth of field for portrait mode. The front camera reaches 20 MP.
In its 8/256 GB version, the Xiaomi 12T is sold for approximately just over 600 euros in Peru. As a reminder, the Xiaomi 11T 8/256 GB was marketed at a price of 599 euros in France when it was released.
