If you’ve been patiently waiting for the arrival of the ultimate Android smartphone from Xiaomi, know that its price may well discourage you. Just before its launch in France, we already know the price of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
After the announcement of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro in Europe last February, we waited impatiently the most premium model in the series, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The Chinese manufacturer finally unveiled the device to much fanfare in China last month, but since then we haven’t heard from the smartphone.
We knew thanks to CEO Lei Jun that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be released in France, but Xiaomi has not yet revealed any release date or price. With a high price of 1299 euros for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, we expected to see the Xiaomi 13 Ultra break recordsand this is finally what the famous leaker billbil-kun from Dealabs has just confirmed.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra arrives at 1499 euros in France
According to information from billbil-kun, which very often turns out to be reliable, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes to us at a price of 1499 euros. It is therefore the most expensive device that Xiaomi has ever launched with us, and it is even 20 euros more than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, sold on the official website from of 1479 euros.
However, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was launched in China at only 5999 yuan, or 789 euros excluding taxes. This was the same price as the previous Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which was however released at “only” 1199 euros here. The Chinese manufacturer has therefore considerably increased its prices this year, following in the footsteps of Apple on its iPhone 14 or Samsung on its Galaxy S23. Note that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will arrive with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storageAnd two colors will be available: green and black.
No release date has yet been revealed, but since we already know its price, we imagine that the smartphone will be marketed next month. Billbil-kun takes the opportunity to announce the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 12 on June 2 at 199 euros.
