Last night, a vast hack affected many channels Youtube very popular.

Justin Bieber, Drake, Cardi B, Eminem or even Travis Scott are concerned.

A strange YouTube hack

A few hours ago, various of the world’s most popular YouTube channels released some amazing content to their tens of millions of subscribers. Indeed, the VEVO channels of artists Lil Nas X, Eminem, Drake, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Michael Jackson and Kanye West have published a video…. by Paco Sanz.

Remember that Paco Sanz was convicted of fraud, after asking for funding to save him from a cancer that did not actually exist. Enough to extort no less than 300,000 euros in a few years, before being sentenced to 2 years in prison at the beginning of last year.

Free Paco Sanz

The videos posted on the YouTube accounts of the celebrities concerned thus displayed a message “ Free Paco Sanz “. A hack that follows another hack last year of various Spanish accounts on Twitter, again with demands to release this same Paco Sanz. The videos all indicated to be the work of a Twitter account, namely @lospelasobroand relayed the hashtag #FreePacoSanz.

On the side of YouTube, we have not commented on this hack, but at Vevo, we have of course begun to investigate this incident, confirming that ” some videos were directly uploaded to a small number of Vevo artist channels by an unauthorized source “.

Obviously, the videos in question were quickly deleted, and the accounts of the artists were secured, specifies Vevo. This is not the first time that Vevo has been affected by a hack, since in 2018 already the clip of the song Despacito was briefly removed from YouTube by hackers.
