It’s a story that reminds us that social networks are sometimes still good. It happened near Hyères, in the Var, recently, last May to be precise. Masha, a little cat barely two years old, had to be euthanized by her owners after a car accident, as reported by France Bleu Provence. An operation took place in a veterinary clinic in the city of the Côte d’Azur as evidenced by a certificate and an invoice. Unfortunately, the little feline could not be saved. In any case, this is what the owners of the animal believed.
However, two months later, the daughter of the owners of Macha comes across an Instagram post with a photo of a cat that looks like two drops of water to the one she had to part with. In this ad, a lady explains that she lost her cat in the town of Hyères. The teenager therefore decides to contact the lady in question who explains to her that she has “adopted this little cat a short time ago in a veterinary clinic in Hyères“, reports France Bleu. The animal would have been abandoned by a family after a serious car accident. This time, no more doubts, it is indeed Macha.
The veterinarian would not have “dared” to contact the family again
Fortunately, the little cat was found and returned to its first owners. Contacted by the family, the veterinarian explained that she did not see them being called back to announce that the cat was better, the mourning having surely already passed. The family felt “betrayed“by the professional whose explanations were”blurry“. She decided not to file a complaint, but the vet promised to treat Masha for free until the end of her life.
