In the last three episodes of their documentary series broadcast on Netflix, Meghan Markle and Harry talk about their icy conversation with Elizabeth II.
The last three episodes of the docuseries on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were unveiled by Netflix this Thursday, December 15. The couple, who will receive a nice jackpot, attack the royal family frontally. An affront to Elizabeth II has not passed … While the first three episodes gave pride of place to their love story and tender moments with their children, these episodes do much less in the lace. Meghan Markle claims to have been “thrown into the mouth of the wolf” and directly attacks the royal family of England. If Charles will not necessarily react to the attacks of his son, except on one condition, their remarks on the late Queen Elizabeth II should speak and shock the United Kingdom. Meghan Markle and Harry talk at length about the “Megxit” in the Netflix documentary. If they officially left the royal family on March 31, 2020, they seem to have a lot of grudges. Harry notably returned to his call to Elizabeth II, his grandmother, before the Megxit.
In the documentary broadcast on Netflix, Harry details his conversation with Elizabeth II. “Before we left, I spoke to my grandmother and told her that we were coming back on the 6th and that we would very much like to come and see her.” He adds : “She knew we found things difficult. I’ve spoken to him about it so many times. She told me she had nothing planned for the week.”
Meghan Markle and Harry still bitter
Elizabeth II would therefore have proposed to the couple to come and stay for the night. Meghan Markle then gives her version of the facts: “We were coming from Vancouver directly to London airport. As we board the plane, an urgent message is delivered to Harry. The message read: “You are not allowed to come and see Her Majesty The Queen. Make sure the principal concerned is aware that he cannot come to meet her. The Queen is busyshe has events planned all week.”
Surprised, Harry recounts what he felt at the time: “I thought, “But that’s the exact opposite of what she told me.” Arrived in the United Kingdom, Harry decides to call Elizabeth II. He recounts their conversation: “I am now told that you are busy. She replies: “Yes, I didn’t know I was busy. They told me I was busy. I was told that I was busy all week”. And I thought “Wow.”
