Themes of the questions, guests … What the “Grand Quiz” has in store for TF1 viewers

European 1

For the end of year celebrations, the “Grand Quiz” is back on TF1. Themes, guests, future broadcasts… In “Media culture”, presenter Hélène Mannarino reveals at the microphone of Europe 1 everything that awaits viewers in her new entertainment broadcast, scheduled for this Wednesday at 9:10 p.m.

INTERVIEW

40 questions to sum up the year 2022. This is the new challenge proposed by Hélène Mannarino in the Big Quiz, broadcast this Wednesday at 9:10 p.m. on TF1. At the helm of the show since July 2021, the presenter confided in the microphone of Media culture on Europe 1 on the course of its entertainment program. “We’re really going to sweep away all the current topics. We’re going to talk about sport, music… There will be lots of surprises,” she announces.

On the program, in addition to the 150 people making up the panel of participants, viewers will be able to find guests such as Tom Villa, Joyce Jonathan, Manu Payet, Chantal Goya and Laurent Mariotte. The show is usually broadcast rather in the summer, but for these end-of-year celebrations, TF1 seems to have made an exception.

An issue in the form of a 2022 balance sheet

The first episode had climbed to the top of the audiences but its success gradually fell, with a last issue, broadcast last August, which settled for third place. Hélène Mannarino, however, defends herself from a flop and justifies the choice of a broadcast in December: “It shows that, on the contrary, the ‘Grand Quiz’ can be everywhere, all year round. And above all, we are talking this time of the year 2022. It is a balance sheet so necessarily it is broadcast before the end of the year”, explains the presenter.

TF1 has already planned other issues for the year 2023, of which Hélène Mannarino has exclusively unveiled the next themes. “They will focus on the IQ (intelligence quotient, editor’s note) and on the highway code”, she confides.
