Shawn Mendes canceled the rest of his world tour at the end of July for the sake of his health. How is the singer today?

Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes (24) had to deliver the sad news to his fans at the end of July that he had to cancel the rest of his world tour shows. Mendes had already interrupted the first part in early July to concentrate on his health. A reporter from the US portal “TMZ” the musician has now revealed how he currently spends his time.

Time for family and friends

He goes to therapy and spends a lot of time with his family, Mendes said. It is also important to him to do things that he has not found time to do in recent years, such as meeting friends for dinner. Mendes, who celebrated his 24th birthday on Aug. 8, posted last a picture on Instagram, which shows him on a boat in Miami, apparently enjoying the mentioned time with friends.

Mendes explained at the end of July that he did not realize how difficult it was to play live again after the long pandemic break at Instagram. “After speaking to my team and working with an incredible group of healthcare professionals, I’ve realized that I need to take the time that I personally never took to explore myself and come back stronger.”

Among other things, appearances in Great Britain and in Europe were planned. In Germany, Mendes would have been on stage in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg next year. The “Wonder: The World Tour” started in Portland in June and was originally supposed to last until August 2023.
