The TV package for Orange Livebox subscribers is changing. In addition to the appearance of new channels, the operator changes the numbering of several others. Here’s everything you need to know so you don’t get lost.
Orange does your spring cleaning late (or early, it depends). THE internet service provider announces several important changes for all of its subscribers a few days apart. After excellent news for all subscribers, who see the upstream and downstream speed of their offer increase without a price increase, it is the turn of the TV to get a new look.
The modifications are multiple: from new channels make their appearance, an originally paid channel becomes freeand several others now have a new number. This is an internal reshuffle at the FAI which has nothing to do with the changes expected for TNT.
Here are the new channels and the new numbering of the Orange TV bouquet
Let’s start with the new features that integrate the operator’s TV. We have included the channel which goes free, RTPI :
- Star Academy : channel dedicated to reality TV of the same name, channel 156.
- ILTV : local channel on news from the Hénin-Carvin Urban Community, channel 374.
- RTPI : Portuguese channel which brings together the programs of RTP 1, RTP 2 and RTP 3, channel 443.
- ITV : Portuguese channel, channel 451.
The following channels have a new number. Don’t panic if you know them by heart, the differences are minimal and you will quickly get back to your habits. Note that RTPI is in the list since it becomes free and changes channels at the same time:
- CANAL+ Series : 72 instead of 71.
- Filmo : 73 instead of 72.
- LCP 100% : 223 instead of 225.
- Public Senate : 224 instead of 226.
- France 24 : 225 instead of 227.
- RTPI : 443 instead of 455.
In theory, you don’t have to do anything for the changes to take effect. However, you may not see them right away. If this lasts, do not hesitate to launch a search for channels from your TV decoder. The procedure to follow differs depending on your box model, so the easiest way is to refer to the dedicated Orange support pages.
