There’s a fuss about reallocations – community association boss Riedl is apparently about to withdraw

The ÖVP politician is accused of having earned more than one million euros through property sales in Grafenwörth (Tulln district), where he is mayor. The investigation into the allegations is still ongoing. Despite loud calls for his resignation, Alfred Riedl, mayor of Grafenwörth, did not resign from his position as president of the municipal association in July, but “only” suspended it. A consequence of the property deals, which were processed legally correctly but were always controversial because of their crooked appearance, which the “Krone” uncovered with the “profil” in 2021.
