So, to stay in shape, the beautiful Slovakian makes homemade drinks. The first is a ginger infusion. “I like ginger infusions but I didn’t like them before”, she explains to Gala.
It must be said that ginger is ideal for keeping in shape! Adriana Karembeu mixes this way “water with ginger and lemon” and that’s all. This simple drink helps control your cravings. Indeed, ginger improves the effectiveness of leptin in the body, which is none other than the satiety hormone. As a result, ginger allows you to disappear the feeling of hunger. And that’s not all. Ginger also helps inhibit the production of cortisol and therefore regulate lipid metabolism.

Adriana Karembeu’s second favorite drink to keep in shape is a vegetable smoothie. “But be careful, not the fruit, it’s a nightmare. Instead, bite into a piece of fruit,” explains the 52-year-old woman. Indeed, fruit juices can be treacherous since without the fibers which bring a feeling of satiety, we can find ourselves drinking too much and thus disrupt our blood sugar levels, which leads to a feeling of hunger and fatigue.
