From this Tuesday, August 8, the ninth season of The Voice Kids enters the perilous phase of the battles. For the occasion, eight singing stars will come to support the coaches. Discover them.
Since July 4, the last season of The Voice Kids treat viewers to TF1. For this ninth edition, still presented by Nikos Aliagas, if the singers Kenji and Patrick Fiori were renewed, Nolwenn Leroy and Slimane also took their place alongside them in the famous red armchairs. In an interview with Galalast June, the singer of 40 years and the interpreter of Come let’s love each other had also confided in this experience rich in emotion.
Because, if for Slimane being present on the side of the jurors was a form of recognition seven years after winning The Voicefor Nolwenn Leroy it is “a real responsibility to say “yes” or “no” to talents“, and especially children. Not feeling legitimate, she explained that she took time to agree to be a coach. After blind auditions rich in twists and emotions, a new stage begins in The Voice Kids, that of the battles.

Trio battles
From this Tuesday, August 8, the 48 talents, aged between 5 and 16, who make up the teams of four coaches will begin to face each other in the ring. At the end of these battles, the members of the jury will only be able to qualify one talent per trio to advance to the semi-finals. They will have to make difficult choices. And for this perilous, sometimes cruel ordeal, the coaches will not be alone facing their 12 candidates since eight other personalities will be at their side to support them and help them select the best talents for their teams.
On Slimane’s side, it’s Claudio Capeo and Vitaa who will come to advise him in his choices. Patrick Fiori will be supported by Ycare and Christophe Willem. Nolwenn Leroy will be accompanied by Bilal Hassani and Joyce Jonathan and finally Soolking and Wejdene will be alongside Kendji Girac. If the battles are done in trio while in the adult version, the candidates compete face to face, it is above all a desire of the production to make the experience less hard for the children.
