On Windows, there are so many keyboard shortcuts that you probably don’t know half of them. Today, we invite you to discover a series of shortcuts dedicated to applications in the Office suite, which you can now open in no time.
If Windows has redoubled its efforts since its creation to make its operating system more digestible for its users, it nonetheless remains an extremely complex and complete OS. No need to dig through the millions of features that are hidden within the multiple menus and system applications: a simple glance at your keyboard already allows you to discover options that you didn’t even know existed.
Indeed, Windows is full of keyboard shortcuts that are sometimes very well known, sometimes much less so, but which in all cases make life easier for users once mastered. Did you know, for example, that it is possible to take a screenshot in just a few seconds? Or to instantly reopen this accidentally closed tab on your Internet browser? Today, let’s take a look at the Office suite, which is no exception when it comes to saving time.
How to Open the Entire Office Suite in a Second Using These Keyboard Shortcuts
You may remember the Office key, this key that appeared a few years ago on keyboards marketed by Microsoft. This key allows you, via a simple shortcut, to open the Office application of your choice. However, it is possible to do exactly the same thing on a keyboard that does not have this key, via a slightly more complex shortcut. Here is the full list:
- Word – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + W
- Excel —CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+WIN+X
- Power point – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + P
- Outlook – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + O
- Teams —CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+WIN+T
- OneDrive – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + D
- OneNote – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + N
- LinkedIn — CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + L
- Yammer – CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN + Y

Of course, you’ll have to do a bit of wrist gymnastics to access all the necessary keys, but once you get the hang of it, the days of using the mouse or the search function to open these applications will be far behind you.
Note that if you try one of these shortcuts without the related application installed on your PC, Windows will open Office.com on your default browser.

Fun fact about Microsoft Windows: if you type Ctrl-Shift-Alt-Win-L, LinkedIn will open in your default browser. This is an OS hotkey that cannot be turned off.
