Bad news for owners wishing to carry out energy renovation work, and in particular to change their heating system: the amount of certain MaPrimeRnov’ aid is decreasing from April 1st. We will explain everything to you.
If you want to benefit from MaPrimeRnov’ to change your heating system, bad news awaits you from April 1st. The government has in fact decided to reduce certain aid by 30%in particular those allowing the installation of a wood heating system.
The Minister of Ecological Transition Christophe Bchu explained this plan on January 31. There are debates on the fact that if we push the wood heating sector too much, this could harm what we can do elsewhere in terms of biomass, defended the minister during the question session to the government of the National Assembly.
Up to 3,000 euros less aid for the lowest-income households
In detail, aid for the installation of an automatic boiler running on wood or other biomass passes from 10,000 to 7,000 euros for the lowest-income householdsfrom 8000 to 5500 euros for low-income households and from 4000 to 3000 euros for intermediate households.
For manual boilers running on wood or other biomass, aid increases from 8,000 to 5,500 euros for the lowest-income households, from 6,500 to 4,500 euros for low-income households and from 3,000 to 2,000 for intermediate households.

Finally, for pellet stoves and cookers, as for stoves and stove cookers, the aid increases from 2500 to 1800 euros for the most modest households and from 2000 to 1500 euros for modest households.
No change, however, for heating production equipment operating on solar thermal energy. Aid is maintained at 10,000 euros for the lowest-income households, and 8,000 euros for low-income households.
