Summer is here and wants to be enjoyed. And where is that better at a beach bar? Right, nowhere. That’s why we’re introducing you to the nicest beach bars on the Baltic Sea.

The beach bar for surfers: not only chilling here, but also surfing! In Hawaii, La La means “controlled sliding of a surfer along the wave wall”. But whether you surf or not: the nice team will provide you with fresh rolls in the morning and show you their barista skills at the espresso machine Fish rolls and other delicious snacks are served. And in the evenings there are many live concerts with regional musicians in the summer. Drinks and a delicious barbecue are also served. Free entry!

The sun loungers face the sea, the hammocks ensure hang-loose moments and the large roof terrace with a 360-degree all-round view offers the best views over the expanse of the sea. On “Music Monday” there is groovy live music in summer from 7 p.m.!

The Flounderbar at the Hohwacht Bay is Lisa and Kian’s heart project. The two serve organic vegetarian snacks on real dishes to avoid waste, bake waffles with coffee and serve cocktails and aperitifs with and without alcohol. In summer there is live music right on the beach, all with a view of the beautiful pier.

Relax on Deck 7 in Heiligenhafen when the sun sinks into the sea: with delicious shakes, cocktails and lounge music. After a day on, in or on the water, enjoy the view of the sea a little longer, a delicious long drink in your hand – you can’t do much more than that.

Beanbags, sofas, straw umbrellas, palm trees – at the Haffdüün Beachlounge north of Scharbeutz you almost feel like you are on the Mediterranean, at least when the weather is good. If it’s windy, you can go to the sheltered dune terrace, otherwise it’s better to stay on the beach. PS: The signature cocktail “The Haff” made from Lütjenburg double grain, ginger beer, lime juice and raspberry puree not only tastes good as a sundowner.

Those who like special beers are well served in Eckernförde. Because beer sommelier Rajas Thiele-Stechemesser brews the sorts in his “Land insicht” brewery himself, which also wet the throats of his beach bar guests in summer. Tables, chairs, umbrellas, sun loungers – choose what suits your mood!
