Netflix is making an absolute splash at the moment with its latest original film The Lady and the Dragon. An exclusive feature film which was released on March 8, 2024, and which has still not left first place in the top 10 in France. And even abroad for that matter. Total domination even though this production still divides so much. The Rotten Tomatoes scores have even dropped since launch and are currently at 56% (press) and 70% (viewers). A mythical hero weaves his web on Netflix

If you are looking for the best Spidey (yes, yes!), you will be able to re(watch) The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel The Amazing Spider-Man: A Hero’s Destiny on Netflix. Two productions directed by Marc Webb (500 Days Together) with Andrew Garfield in the role of Peter Parker, and the very recent Oscar winner Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. On the other hand, we also have one of the films from the last trilogy with Tom Holland (Spidey) and Zendaya (MJ), Spider-Man: Far From Home. Finally, if you don’t want to choose between Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield, there remains an alternative with the magnificent animated feature film Spider-Man: New Generation. Four Spider-Man films and the Monk series available
As a bonus to the Spider-Man films, Netflix red adds an iconic series for many: Monk. A show broadcast in the early 2000s on TF1 in France which follows a private detective like no other. “A brilliant inspector, Adrian Monk, suffering from obsessive disorders leaves his position to become a consultant and resolve the affairs of the brigade” official synopsis.
The success was such that the Monk series lasted for 8 seasons, and even returned at the end of 2023 with Mr. Monk’s Last Case. A film with the original cast released on the Peacock streaming platform. “After the COVID pandemic worsened his phobias and caused him to lose his publishing contract, the only things former detective Adrien Monk longs for are the marriage of his stepdaughter Molly and the possibility of returning to the beyond his late wife, Trudy” (via CinéSérie).
