What is the promotion on these Hue kits?
The Philips Hue White Ambiance starter kit includes three white E27 bulbs, 60W equivalent, a connection bridge, and a Hue dimmer remote control. Initially sold for €99.99, it is available for sale at a price of €69.99 on the Darty website.
The same Hue starter kit, this time with three colored bulbs, is priced at €119.99 instead of the usual €189.99.

What are these connected bulb kits from Philips?
Hue connected bulbs are very easy to use and can be installed quickly. These starter kits are ideal for getting started with your connected lighting. They consist of the essentials, namely three white E27 bulbs, or white and colored E27 bulbs depending on the kit, a light dimmer and a connection bridge. The latter is essential to operate your bulbs with your smartphone or tablet.
Installation level, after screwing the bulbs into your lights, you just have to plug in the bridge and connect it to your home’s Wi-Fi. The bulbs will then appear in the dedicated Philips Hue app. For the rest, everything goes (almost) through the Philips Hue application, available on iOS and Android, which allows you to control your bulbs. Note that the magnetic switch will also be used to turn the lighting on, off and change the intensity. It can be placed on a door frame, or used as a basic remote control. To personalize your lighting, particularly with colored bulbs, it will however be necessary to use the app.
