According to the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, it has already been claimed by more than 1.6 million French people in three days. The first day, 825,000 requests were filed on the tax site, reports France Blue. But this aid, which is only granted to those who have had a reference tax income of less than 14,700 euros in 2021, concerns only 50% of the most modest households. What about other motorists? If you are not entitled to the fuel allowance, other arrangements exist.

To do this, you must make several journeys as a driver via carpooling applications such as Blablacar, Ciligo or Daily. The distance of your trips should not exceed 80 km. From the first trip, you can get 25 euros, then 75 euros after the tenth.

Ecological bonus and conversion bonus
If you buy a new electric vehicle under 47,000 euros and 2.4 tons, you can also receive the ecological bonus. It varies from 6,000 euros for a car to 7,000 euros for a van, and can be recalculated on the website of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Its amount depends on the price of the new purchase, your tax situation and the distance between your home and your work. It can reach 5,000 euros. Installation of an electric charging station can also allow you to benefit from a tax credit of up to 75% of purchase expenses. You can be compensated up to 300 euros per terminal and for the installation of a maximum of two terminals, i.e. 600 euros in total. At last, some regions and municipalities also offer aid when you buy an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.
