These are 8 models of period panties which have been compared to 3 classic panty liners, so as to compete for their absorbency. The test was carried out through online surveys and questionnaires. The results are quite mixed: the absorption capacities evaluated have turned out to be lower than the promises. Half of the models tested would be less absorbent than a panty liner. The protection against humidity is on the other hand quite satisfactory, but inferior to that of a disposable towel.
