Video projectors have long been associated with heavy equipment, difficult to transport and install. But that was without counting on Anker and its Nebula brand, which has just unveiled two new models, the Capsule 3 and the Mars 3 Air.
Anker and its Nebula brand have just unveiled two new compact LED video projectors which look really nice. We already knew Nebula video projectors for their practical side: they run on battery, are wireless and hyper mobile. In addition, they run Google TV with access to the Play Store and Netflix.
The most compact is called Nebula Capsule 3 and it is shaped like a can. The second is the Nebula Mars 3 Air, and it is more cube-shaped. Both are available for pre-order from November 20, with a small discount if you purchase them from the Nebula website. Official sales begin in December. Price-wise, count on 499.99 euros for the Capsule 3 and 599.99 euros for the Mars 3 Air.
Nebula Capsule 3: the can projector
The Nebula Capsule 3 is the new kid in Nebula’s range of can projectors. It follows on from Capsule 2 and is placed just below the Laser version in the hierarchy. At 16 cm high, it is super easy to transport.
And thanks to its 52 Wh battery, you can use it for 2.5 hours, even without an electrical outlet nearby. The image quality will be correct with 200 ANSI lumens and Full HD definition. And for sound, Nebula has integrated an 8 W Dolby Digital Plus speaker. Of course, the projector runs Google TV and you have Netflix installed directly on it.
Nebula Mars 3 Air: the transportable cube
The Nebula Mars 3 Air is the little brother of the Mars 3, which was already on the market. It is lighter and therefore easier to carry, but it offers an image brightness of 400 ANSI lumens. The battery also lasts 2.5 hours, like the Capsule 3. With Full HD definition, autofocus, keystone correction and automatic image adjustment, you are sure to have a perfect image even on a ceiling or an inclined wall.
And for sound, there are two 8W speakers with Dolby Digital Plus. Practical, there is a handle to carry it and an integrated support to put it wherever you want.
