These stars admit themselves to being cracras

Several celebrities deliberately choose to talk about their questionable hygiene when interviewed. An overdose of honesty that must thrill their backstage agents.

In August 2021, Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed in a podcast that they only wash their children when they are very dirty. Shortly after, it was the turn of actress Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard to confide that they “forget” sometimes to wash their children. So much so that they prefer “wait for the stench” to then force them to go through a good bath.

Lists of “dirtiest stars” are legion in the press people since always. More often than not, sordid details emanate from more or less reliable close sources when they are not invented from scratch. What is surprising is that some celebrities themselves shoot themselves in the foot by describing a deplorable hygienic routine.

In the interview of the Kutcher-Kunis couple, the actor also evokes his own ritual in the bathroom, or rather, his absence of ritual! He explains : “I wash my armpits and private parts every day and that’s it.” We are left speechless.

Embarrassing confessions

In 2009, while the Twilight saga is in full swing, actor Robert Pattinson indulges in similar confidences. During an interview for the Extra magazine, the Englishman explained that it was quite normal for him not to wash his hair for six weeks. “I don’t see the point in doing it. It’s the same with my apartment. I don’t clean it because I don’t care. I have one just because I have to sleep under a roof. have hair so it’s on my head. I don’t care if one of the two is clean or not. ”

Still on the side of sex symbols we find Bradley Cooper. The actor and director of “A Star Is Born” had told in an interview with Esquire magazine in 2012 not to be a fan of deodorant. Journalist Scott Raab then questions him about comments he made in another interview: “Speaking of the Trek show you were hosting, you said you found out that the body was self-cleaning so you stopped the deodorant in the process. Maybe your body cleans itself, but it sure isn’t. mine.” And Bradley Cooper to answer: “Self-cleaning might not be the right term, but I actually don’t use deodorant at all. I take a lot of showers so maybe that helps.”

Sophie Turner and Shailene Woodley’s Cracking Routine

Women are not left out since even the Louis Vuitton muse and Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner dares to have fun with her lack of hygiene. In BBC interview in 2019, she explains never washing her legs in the shower before asking the presenter in the face if he dares to do it. The latter answers no, but that he washes his thighs. “Yeah but do you go down to your ankles?” retorts the actress before adding that she never goes so low in the shower.

The issue went viral online after Ellen DeGeneres asked singer Taylor Swift. She had explained live on American television never to clean your legs in the shower.

On the side of actress Shailene Woodley, it’s the hair routine that is unexpected. In a media interview Into The Gloss in 2014, she explained that she hardly ever washed her hair. “I shampoo once a month, the greasier my hair, the better” she declared.

Maybe these popular and internationally successful celebrities just want to give themselves a more down to earth image? Not sure this is the best technique …
