[Deal du jour] There are many models of robot vacuum cleaners at very different prices, and not all of them have the same features. These two models from Xiaomi are basic, but offer good performance. They are much more interesting on promotion.
What is the promotion on these robot vacuum cleaners from Xiaomi?
Xiaomi’s Robot Vacuum E12 robot vacuum cleaner is usually sold for €199.99. It is currently offered at the price of €109.99 on the Xiaomi website.
The Robot Vacuum S12 model, normally sold for €299.99, is currently priced at €149.99 on the Xiaomi website.

What is the Robot Vacuum E12?
The Robot Vacuum E12 has dimensions of 325 × 325 × 80 mm in height, and is therefore capable of slipping under certain furniture. Its finishes are quite good and the robot is solid. Sensors make it possible to detect stairs and walls, in order to avoid shocks. Its rubber main brush stays close to the floor surface for deep cleaning. A second brush collects the dust and sends it into the dust bin filter.
The maximum suction power of 4,000 Pa is accompanied by four power levels. Larger debris will struggle to be vacuumed, but overall, the Vacuum E12 does a decent job. Xiaomi’s vacuum cleaner can also wash the floor and comes with some welcome features. Thanks to the Xiaomi Home application you can plan washing or vacuuming, adjust the power or monitor the household in real time. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants are also available. In terms of autonomy, allow two hours of cleaning in vacuuming and washing mode.
And the Vaccum S12 model?
The Vaccum S12 has a diameter of 35 cm and a height of 9.45 cm, and is therefore a little taller than the previous model. The big difference with the E12 is the presence of a laser rangefinder on its hood, which it uses to map your interior to optimize its navigation. The same sensors as the E12 model are also included, to avoid obstacles. In terms of suction, the S12 does not lack power. Its central brush coupled with its washing system is particularly effective on hard floors. A “Professional cleaning” mode is useful for getting rid of encrusted dust.
Otherwise, this model is similar to the E12, and the Xiaomi Home application offers the same features. Only the autonomy, very slightly higher, theoretically allows a little more than two hours of cleaning.
